I loved the way the plant intertwined with the wood and had to get a photo to capture it. So glad I did as I haven't now seen that garden in several years. This photo is a nice reminder.Margueritehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377516887669269657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1600547016363116211.post-43642189841551153872010-09-25T13:21:30.911-03:002010-09-25T13:21:30.911-03:00I Love it! I just learned something new today. What an amazing way to grow bulbs. I don't think my new vase fits the description though, the top of the neck is too small to fit any large sized bulb but I wonder if a smaller sized bulb could work. There might be a new project to try out this winter!Margueritehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377516887669269657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1600547016363116211.post-87982060436976204932010-09-24T07:54:10.064-03:002010-09-24T07:54:10.064-03:00Marguerite, I love your green glass, I have such a...Marguerite, I love your green glass, I have such a huge number of vases, have collected them over the years. One of the issues is not just having flowers, but flowers that have stiff stems and lend themselves to being in a bouquet.Margueritehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377516887669269657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1600547016363116211.post-85578959292767418382010-09-22T19:29:27.735-03:002010-09-22T19:29:27.735-03:00Hi Marguerite...

Through this project, I have learned that I need to plant more "bouquet" type flowers. We gardeners are always learning. I love your vases. I look for them at yard sales.
BalishaBalishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17298193443371503407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1600547016363116211.post-27020039075573968822010-09-22T19:22:36.055-03:002010-09-22T19:22:36.055-03:00Noelle, thank you for providing the opportunity to...Noelle, thank you for providing the opportunity to push myself to make a beautiful bouquet when I wouldn't bother otherwise.

Ms. S - The speedwell really is pretty isn't it?
