Note to Self

I must remember that I don't drive a truck anymore

And that small cars don't take kindly to mud

When I see pix like that I have to quote a pirate: "GAR!" What a mess! Will that be paved any time soon?

Oh dear, I hope you got out without too much trouble! This is what March typically looks like in my area, too, but we have missed the mud season completely this year. I can't say that I miss it:)

Hope you weren't stuck, and that the car washed off easily. Mud is not fun to play in unless you're making pies!

Tee hee... OH yes, this isn't funny...now. I got our truck hung up in the side lot one year. Had to call a wrecker. No 4wd. Sigh~~ I feel your pain.

Oh, my gosh! I hope you weren't stranded for long. Even in a truck my girlfriend and I got stuck in mud in a big field during an antique show. It was such a mess!

Even trucks can get stuck, as we proved Saturday night!
A lot of rain, soft ground, and rain-slick grass was our undoing. Thankfully along came another truck that had a winch on the front and pulled us out.
Hope you got unstuck as easily as we did.
Have a wonderful day!

well GAR is a lot more pleasant than what hubby said when he discovered what I'd done! ;-) unfortunately we have so many 'fixes' required to this property that the driveway is a long way down the list.

my fault really, I shoulda known

right at our front door actually, I made it up the drive but when I tried to turn it around to park she got stuck. I'm parking at the road now until this mud dries up.

sure is the lane, a right mess these days. Wellies are required footgear for the next couple weeks.

luckily all I had to do was walk to the front door ;-))

We've had such a fast melt this year that the ground just can't soak it up fast enough. Combined with warm temperatures it was perfect mud making weather.

the bright side was the hose was close by and the car got a good wash so both mud and a winter's worth of road salt came off that afternoon

Lisa even though I hardly ever used my 4x4 I really miss it at times like these

It took a little time to work our way out of this but the good news it was right in our driveway! easy to go inside and wash up after.

I guess we're not the only ones with a mud season! glad to hear someone came along just in time with the right equipment.
