I got a little camera crazy
This is the first time I've had daffodils in a garden in, maybe 5, perhaps 6 years?
I've missed them
funny thing though, I'm pretty sure I read the label when I bought these. but then perhaps not.
I thought they would be taller, and whiter, with longer noses
Good thing I'm not too fussy and love them just the same.

I REALLY like those! The way the gold fades into the white. Beautiful!
Daffodils are so thrilling to see when spring finally starts. So glad yours decided to make an appearance for you. They're adorable, even if they were mis-labeled.
What a lovely variety - such delicate colouring - our daffs are over now sadly
that was my reason for buying them, loved the idea of that show fade. it's pretty cool.
It's more a case of does the flower look like what they say in the catalogue. They were labelled correctly but the description seemed a little different than the reality. That's catalogues though - they show flower glamour shots.
we've been rather fortunate to have a small bout of coolish weather here this week. Lots of rain and lower temperatures means the bulbs are sticking around a bit longer.
Actually I think these are particularly pretty. I like the way the yellow bleeds like watercolor paint into the main part of the flower.
Any daffodil makes me happy in spring! -Jean
