Canoe Cove Plant Sale

Muriel, I tried to email you but the address just wouldn't work?  So this post is for you!

It's that time of year again.  The sun is shining, the ground is warm and there are plants to buy and fill our gardens with.

Come join us in Canoe Cove on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 9am to noon for the 7th Annual Plant Sale.

You never know what plants might show up on the tables but I'll give you a hint at what I'm bringing.

there's hardy geraniums in there, some bleeding hearts.....
and there might be some basil ......okay, a lot of basil

So follow the purple line starting in Charlottetown and get on out here.

Sure wish I could be there. I would love some of your bleeding heart and geraniums. Have fun. I hope you find something really great for your garden at the sale.

How fun you are writing about plant sale on your post this week, so am I! It is a great way of getting rid of some surplus plants and perhaps earn a bit at the same time.
Have a great week-end, take care.

I won't be able to make this sale, but I sure have been hitting a lot of our local plant sales. I have so much now waiting to be planted my back porch and patio look like I'm holding a sale of my own:)

One thing about a plant sale is you'll never know just what you might find. I always have fun at this thing as I discover new plants each year.

Thanks Helene! this is actually a community sale, all the profits go toward upkeep of our heritage schoolhouse. It's a great fundraiser and the kick off to summer around here.

LOL,isn't that just the case this time of year! It's hard not to come home with a plant or two here and there.

Enjoy the plant sale ... I'd stop by if I lived closer. Instead I'll spend Saturday in my garden in Connecticut.
