Marguerite, We had a more than white Christmas last year and we are going the other direction with 60 degree weather. I am a little jealous of your snow! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Carolyn

Marguerite, have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2012.
Just a note, I tried to pick your last 2 posts at Blotanical and it wouldn't let me, anyone else have problems?

Perfect timing! Snow! It's just cold and dry here. Jack Frost has been running amok along the coast of California! Wishing you and your family a peaceful holiday season, and a joyous New Year! - Clare

Wonderful..
I found your blog and a gardener in my favourite province:)
Love your snowy picture, very pretty.
We have no snow in Toronto perhaps next year.
If you have time please visit my Guildwood garden blog.

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world,
and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.
Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Snow adds the perfect touch for Christmas--your trees just sparkle all covered in white! This is the first year in a long while we haven't had a white Christmas. I miss the snow, but I'm glad my family had no trouble getting to our house this year. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and all the best in the coming New Year, Marguerite!

Merry Christmas, Marguerite! I've not been much on communicating lately but I anticipate a renewed energy level for the new year. My focus being primarily on out with the old and in with the new.

Wishing nothing but the very best in the new year for you as well.

Marguerite,
Merry Christmas to you and Hubby.
It's all so magical now that we have some snow.
I started to go through the Vessey's seed catalog yesterday and book marked at lot of pages.
I'll share with you at a later date, but I'm excited about the New Year and all the planting possibilities that await us!!

Marguerite I had to drop by and tell you how I made this centerpiece too easy !
The container was from Loblaws .. it looks like copper eh ? .. scented pine cones .. red bead draped around (I add gold some times) and cinnamon sticks .. so it can look great and smell wonderful too ! LOL

Perfect timing Marguerite - it looks so lovely with the light dusting of snow! No snow here, however, just more rain. Really, it seems so bizarre! I'm beginning to wonder how long our snowless winter will last?
We're going "winter camping" soon and had no reason to think there's be NO SNOW!! Our plans for snowshoeing, skating and cross-country skiing might have to be replaced with???

Thanks so much everyone for the holiday wishes. Hope you all had a lovely holiday with family and friends.

Deborah - Thanks for your reminder which got me back visiting Blotanical. No issues with picking on my mac but I often have issues on my PC but then it's an old curmudgeon.

Joy - thanks for telling me about that piece. I could see the balls but didn't realize that was cinnamon sticks. Very creative.

Gisela - welcome and I can't wait to visit you.

Michelle - I've had a lag in energy lately too, time of year perhaps, short days? No worry, plenty of time to visit in the new year.

Witch - you're a gardener after my own heart! planning your new season already.

Jane - what a shame! I almost bought tickets for snowshoeing this xmas but held back, seems a little iffy whether we'll have proper snow this year or not? (it's all melting as I type this)
